Juniper Therapy Center Policies and Fees

Unlock your potential with individualized psychotherapy, designed for you.

Invest in yourself,
your well-being, and your future.

We understand that therapy is a commitment of time, resources, and emotional energy – that’s why we take our work with you so seriously. We also know that the potential return is immeasurable: clarity, resilience, and a life lived more fully.

Payment & Fees

We accept payment by credit card, debit card, or HSA/FSA cards.

Fees vary depending on the clinician to reflect experience and licensing level, and are as follows:

  • Laura DeSantis, LPCC – $225/session

  • Alyson Lacko, AMFT - $150/sessi0n

  • All clinicians hold a limited number of sliding scale spots for folks with financial need.

We do not take insurance.

Juniper Therapy Center does not take insurance. This allows us to create a unique therapeutic experience tailored to your individual needs.

The sad truth is that insurance companies can, and often do, try to dictate the course of your therapy by focusing on short-term work – which is cost-saving for them, but unhelpful to you.

We instead focus on what the research and our experience has shown – root cause therapies provide the lasting healing and change people deserve.

If you have a PPO, you can often get 30-80% of your session fee reimbursed by submitting a receipt called a superbill. We also offer a limited number of sliding scale slots for those with financial need. Reach out to learn more.

Good Faith Estimate

Under the law, healthcare providers need to give clients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services.

You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services.

You can ask your healthcare provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service, or at any time during treatment.

If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.

For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, or how to dispute a bill, see your Estimate, or visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
